I do my best work when mixing organization and hands-on design. I love educating and helping inject design, collaboration, and beauty into products.

What I Look For

I’m happiest when I’m helping others — I do that through building design toolkits, evangelizing design, and engaging with customers. As a designer, I’m passionate about solving enterprise sized problems by combining collaboration and beautiful design. For 9 years I’ve done that for SAS Institute, start-ups, and non-profits.

Achievements

  • I build and maintain multiple Figma libraries to meet the needs of 70+ designers and SAS products.

  • I am the design lead for the creative direction of product design at SAS and strategically create collaborative implementation plans for development and design system token maintenance.

  • I lead cross-divisional design workshops for brand enhancement in the product.

  • I am proficient in crafting usability test scripts and surveys and have gathered insights from thousands of customers.

Values

🤝 Connection - Be a human to design for one

📝 Collaboration - Don't make anything alone

⏱️ Efficiency - There is always a smarter way to design

Speaking Engagements

I’m privileged to have been invited to talk at a number of events about design. My aim is always to evangelize the design process and encourage user-centered design thinking. I talk to data analysts on how to enhance their understanding of visual perception and its crucial role in data consumption.
